Make apple crumble…

Apple jam…(every jar sealed!)…

Apple butter…(easier than I thought and didn’t need the recipes!)…

Or, welcome the new year!

(Oh, and make them during the day for better photos than I have!)



    • I started by making apple sauce and then cooked it a LOT longer- letting the sugars carmelise, the apple skins break down, and the extra liquid evaoporate. It was ready when I put a spoonful on a plate and it didn’t spread – and looked the right consistency.
