Check out our beautiful new mugs! They were made by our friends’ children and made us feel so special to receive them. We asked the artist that painted the mug on the right what his design was. He explained that it was a snowflake and a street light. Apparently, all the rest is ‘detail’. We don’t know what the other artist designed (she wouldn’t have described it, even if she was present when gift giving), but I think it’s probably something explosively joyful. The mugs have the child’s name and year on the bottom.
Note to self: they were made with porcelain paint and are microwave and dishwasher safe. Use a fabric cloth to wash them rather than the loofah.
