As I travelled home from work today, Honey said that we were going to have something on the bbq from our garden. I knew it wasn’t going to be runner beans or spinach beet, so couldn’t figure it out! When I got home, she showed me the largest zucchini we’ve ever had (so this is only our second year gardening) that we somehow overlooked! I have no idea where a monster this large was hiding, but maybe it is a sign that we can let them all mature a bit longer before diving for the veg patch (it is usually a quick snatch at the first hint of bug nibbles) because this one didn’t have a single scratch on it! Large, melting rounds of zucchini were a mouth-watering start to the weekend.
