Philadelphia’s Mural Mile

Explore Philly's Mural Mile

Growing up in the suburbs of Philly, I always admired the murals around the city when we would go in to visit family. For years, the Mural Arts Program has run projects supporting the creation of new murals, whether by individual artists or groups. This past summer Honey and I dedicated a day to walking the ‘Mural Mile’, which is a route through various neighbourhoods of the city, and saw the beautiful murals along the way. We printed the downloadable map and set off!

We gave ourselves plenty of time to stop off for food, drinks and inspiring diversions along the way and really enjoyed viewing the city within this framing.
