Honey’s Christmas Sweater

I am posting this retrospectively during January because I didn’t want Honey’s project to get missed out.

In the middle of December, Honey decided that she wanted a Christmas jumper to wear to work and during the holidays. She looked in stores but was shocked by the quality of what was available for standard prices. After she looked for a while, I suggested we make one together from charity shop sweaters. We picked up two wool jumpers for around £7 and I started on the tree.

While pinning and checking it one of the many times, during which we always noticed that it was just slightly crooked, Honey said we should make it really tilt and design a falling tree.

This is why I love this woman! Her sense of humour is fabulous.

So, I sewed on the crooked tree and started her off sewing on the beads. I then handed it over and she created this ‘wrecked Christmas tree’ jumper!
