Great Baltimore Cafe

When we were in the US in May, we headed down to Baltimore for a day at the aquarium. Using the Happy Cow app/website, we searched for vegetarian or vegetarian friendly restaurants or cafes in the area and picked Baba’s Mediterranean Kitchen. It is a vegetarian and vegan friendly cafe type eatery tucked away into a Baltimore neighbourhood.

The space inside is cosy, welcoming, and bright and interesting without being cluttered. It is clearly a well loved spot because people came in to sit down and to do take away, streaming in and out the whole time we ate. The food was delicious and definitely worth going back for, the staff were friendly and happy to accommodate dietary changes, and the menu was full of good, clean, fresh food.

The tables are made of old bowling alleys and the tiles are recycled ceiling tin.

If we lived closer, I would make Baba’s a habit with friends, family, and even alone!
