Spring Wardrobe Care

You know the Love Language ‘Acts of Service’? That is what I speak to others. I’m also a maker who feels the pull to create All the Time. I love these things about me, but sometimes they’re exhausting.

Honey gave me a day to myself and I took care of my own wardrobe, but only as long as I was enjoying it. I let go as soon as I thought ‘I need to’ or ‘I should’.

I repaired dropped trouser, shirt, and pocket hems, and washed woollens. I also embroidered this ’embellishmend’ over a tiny repaired hole. No one would’ve seen the slight  pucker on the sleeve, but I knew I didn’t want it to distract me so instead, I added a smile.
