When we moved in at the end of last summer, we found that there was a small potted blueberry bush. I don’t know the variety but it had a supermarket label so I’m guessing that it’s a low bush variety. We picked berries into the autumn.
I don’t yet know where (or whether) I’ll plant it in the ground and it was overdue for a potting up. Luckily the previous owner left me a few very large pots and I moved the blueberry into a more spacious pot, along with some red clover and marjoram. To slow the quick evaporation inevitable with pots, I added a thick layer of mulch.
